上周（2/23）台積電的供應商大會，執行長劉德音透abspc行李箱露5奈米製程將於2019年試產，等於宣示了台積電在全球半導體先進製程進度發展持續領先英特爾。對此台積電董事長張忠謀表示，台積電沒有要跟誰比，但話鋒一轉說，「我們做的foundry（晶圓代工）領域，是超過任何人的」，也明顯表現出張忠謀對台積電在半導體製成信心滿滿。

張忠謀說，英特爾雖然是很有心要進入foundry（晶圓代工），但他比我們晚了至少20幾年，他說，這一塊不僅僅是製程技術，還有旅遊協會與同業合夥關係的建立，都不是一朝一夕，因此不是那麼容易可以進入的。

張忠謀昨（2）日出席交大榮譽博士頒授典禮，授證的人就是台積長期的合作夥伴博通（Broadcom）公司共同創辦人－－訂房中心亨利山繆利(Henry Samueli)，張忠謀說，以博通為例，台積與博通一直都是用夥伴的方式合作，台積是87年開始、博通是91年，兩家公司等於是半導體產業的開創者，一直保持良好的關係，即使他們現在和Avago合併了，關係也都很好。

對2017年景氣樂觀台積拼雙位數成長

張忠謀表示，半導體在20年前，全球每年的成長率是至少15-16%，當時台積電每年成長率更是30-40%；相較他對今年的預測，2017年全球半導體的成長只會在4-5%，台積也還是會保持在全球成長之上，維持在5-10%，整體來說，張忠謀對今（2017）年半導體的景氣還是樂觀，只是和過去輝煌時期的確不能比。

張忠謀指出，「現在半導體是很基本的行業」，雖然成長率不到兩位數，但無論是PC、IOT等應用，都要用到半導體，因此「台積電的foundry（晶圓代工）不會沒人要的」。

至於眾所矚目的接班問題，張忠謀也在今年度首次對媒體表示，他一直都有說，是以目前的共同執行長劉德音和魏哲家兩位為人選，等到六月股東會自然會揭曉。
